Hi everyone. My name is Alyssa, I signed up in honour of my mum. She passed 9 months ago, she was diagnosed with carcinosarcoma of the uterus which had metastasised to her abdomen, she passed 3 weeks later after diagnosis, she was 61..we lost the battle before we even knew of the war. So I signed up for her, for the rare cancers that no one hears about, the ones that have no symptoms, no prognosis.
I signed up to fuck cancer off..
I set my goal low, as I don’t know if anyone will care enough to sponsor me….. already have had 2 donations which is great.. but regardless of the number it’s the awareness I guess.. I know I cant get her back, but if I can help stop another daughter from feeling this pain by getting my fat ass moving then that’s what I will do
