For mum and dad
I’ll be getting active for 31 minutes a day for 31 days to raise funds for everyone we know and love impacted by cancer.Cancer affects almost 1 in 2 Australians by the age of 85. It could be our mums, dads, grandparents, siblings, friends or teammates. When I say F Cancer, it’s personal.
By donating to my challenge, you’ll help fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.
Every step, every workout, every dollar raised helps us say F Cancer louder than words.
Please support my challenge and donate today.

Cancer sucks
Sunday 19th Apr This year has been so hard for my family. Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer at 79 years old. He’s had treatment and so far so good. Still waiting to see how successful it was. Waiting is hard. Then we lost a beautiful cousin to breast cancer. 2 beautiful kids and 3 grandkids left behind. She had so much more life to live.
Then mum. Wow. Dad’s first day of radiation mum was diagnosed with mantle cell non Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She is currently undergoing treatment. Chemotherapy and immunotherapy. It’s harsh. At 70 mum should be retired, resting and enjoying life. Not this. Caring and needing care has to be hard. She handles it like a Trojan but watching the effects and being helpless sucks. 4 months until we have any idea if she’s any better. Another long wait.
I wish cancer would just f right off.
