I’m getting active this May to say one thing: F Cancer.
Cancer affects almost 1 in 2 Australians by the age of 85. It tried to take me despite my family having zero genetic cancer markers. When I say F Cancer, it’s personal. The challenge in May is to get active for 31 minutes a day for 31 days to raise funds for everyone we know and love impacted by cancer.
I'll also be posting regularly about it to remind everyone to check in on the person/people you know affected by cancer. Perform an act of kindness, help them with errands, let them know you're thinking of them.
If you choose to donate to this challenge, you’ll help fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.
Every step, every workout, every dollar raised helps us say F Cancer louder than words.
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is Sign uped with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
