I’m getting active this May to say one thing: F Cancer.
I’ll be getting active for 31 minutes a day for 31 days to raise funds for everyone we know and love impacted by cancer.Cancer affects almost 1 in 2 Australians by the age of 85. It could be our mums, dads, grandparents, siblings, friends or teammates. When I say F Cancer, it’s personal.
By donating to my challenge, you’ll help fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.
Every step, every workout, every dollar raised helps us say F Cancer louder than words.
Please support my challenge and donate today.
My Updates
My why
Monday 27th Apr The last few years I have had glimpses into the lives of many I love who have battled with many different forms of cancer. My mother managed to survive her battle and is still with us, living a different kind of life but still living; not like too many of our friends, family, teachers, coworkers, kids daycare teachers, coaches.
Everyone tends to think to some degree, " Eh, it won't be me" to some degree. Even as simple as not putting on sunscreen because "she'll be right" or CBF... But it will be us who turn to The Cancer Council and MANY other organisations for support. If not for yourselves, than someone you know; some one you love.
They can't be there without these fund-raisers and Lord knows, I could use some help in keeping myself accountable in my health goals, ESPECIALLY since it's getting colder.
So please, donate even $3, join me in my challenge if you are committed enough and I hope you and your circle never need The Cancer Council.

Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is Sign uped with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
My first spare change donation. My own extra personal challenge will be to round up the difference in ALL normal purchases for the WHOLE MONTH of May and donate that amount. So if groceries is $154, rounding up to $160, that's $6 to my "piggy bank", if fuel is $67, $70 being the next up, that's another $3 etc until the 31st.
