I’m getting active this May to say one thing: F Cancer.

I’ll be getting active for 31 minutes a day for 31 days to raise funds for everyone we know and love impacted by cancer.

Cancer affects almost 1 in 2 Australians by the age of 85. It could be our mums, dads, grandparents, siblings, friends or teammates. When I say F Cancer, it’s personal.

By donating to my challenge, you’ll help fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.

10th of May

Sunday 10th May
Today was Mother’s Day, and it was busy at the restaurant. I’m not entirely sure how long it was but I was definitely zooming around for more than 31 minutes. Both my jobs were full house. Cocktails flying, food going every which way. I worked 11 hours with no break (besides the 30 mins in between my two work shifts)
Long day but I gotta say it was really fun I had a great time serving all the customers
I’m gonna log today as just 31 minutes because I didn’t technically go to the gym but trust me. I’m cooked.

9th of May

Sunday 10th May
I went to work today for a cheeky 5 hour shift before going to the gym afterwards
I hit legs very hard. It was intense and took me 80 mins. Could literally barely walk
Great workout though. Good day

8th of May

Friday 8th May
Today I haven’t gone to the gym at all however during my work today I was moving pallets from one storeroom to another.  The storerooms were around 200m from each other and I had to push these heavy trolleys up a hill and back down for a whole hour
So tiring
Thought maybe about going for a walk tonight

7th of May

Friday 8th May
I was meant to go to the gym for leg day and finish my back workout however I decided that it was too cold to go out. So I stayed home and did a strenuous ab workout. It took 42 minutes.

6th of May

Thursday 7th May
Today I was meant to be lifting weights (back and biceps) however halfway through my brother and I decided to play basketball instead
We played for 45 minutes
It was intense
We only lifted weights for around 15-20 minutes which puts me at a total 60mins for the day!
I’ll do the other half of my back workout as well as legs at the gym tmr

5th of May

Wednesday 6th May
Today I played 1 hour of basketball with a friend. We just had a very intense 1v1 game. It was great

4th of May

Monday 4th May
Saturday 4th of May.
Today I hit the gym after work. I only worked 5 hours so I wasn’t feeling too tired. 
I worked Triceps and Chest at my gym (Push day)
Favourite Tricep exercise is definitely an overhead extension or a Tricep push down
Favourite chest exercise is definitely dumbbell incline bench press
Also played around 35-45 minutes of basketball with friends to end the night
4th day was too easy. Let’s go

Sunday 3rd May
Today I did a 45 minute leg workout at my gym. Cannot walk right now (im exaggerating my legs just hurt a lot)
Good day though
Favourite exercise was definitely Leg Press

2nd of May

Saturday 2nd May
Day 2 and I’m feeling positive. Back and Biceps at the gym today. Whole workout took a little over 1 hour plus  an extra 15 minutes on the stair master at the end of the workout.
Shout out to LIFT gym. Best gym in Launceston easy!

1st of May, 2026

Friday 1st May
Today is the start of the 31 minutes for 31 days challenge! I did already train all my muscles group recently so today I’m going to go for a 20 minute Ab workout, followed by a 20 boxing combination circuit!
Edit: The ab workout ended up only taking 15 minutes. I also only ended up doing a little over half the boxing circuit (12 minutes). So I jumped on the basketball court at my gym and did a 15 minute shooting/rebounding drill. That was tiring, but I’m also very excited to have logged in 42 minutes on day 1! Can’t wait for day 2.
Also I don’t know to get use the activity tracker feature on the app if anyone could help me out? Thank you.
