Timmy’s Biography

⚡️ Meet Tim Goodwin ⚡️

Cosplayer. Performer. Comic-book enthusiast. Founder of STARKFORCE.

Tim Goodwin is a 36-year-old pop culture fanatic who has spent the last fifteen years bringing fictional characters to life through cosplay and the last seven years performing on stage. Whether he’s stepping into a theatre production or suiting up as Iron Man at a convention, Tim doesn’t just wear costumes — he throws himself completely into the character.

A familiar face at events like Supanova Comic Con & Gaming and other pop culture gatherings around Perth, Tim has always loved the way comics, films and fandoms bring people together. His favourite comic storyline is Kraven's Last Hunt — dark, emotional, dramatic and unforgettable.

But underneath the armour, the masks and the convention photos is somebody who genuinely wants to make people smile and do some good along the way.

Tim has previously participated in the 2015 Perth Zombie Walk for Brain Cancer Research while dressed as Stubbs the Zombie, proving that even the undead can support a worthy cause.

Now, alongside Chester “Chess-Man” Fields, Tim is leading STARKFORCE into a brand new mission: raising money through the Dog Walk for Cancer fundraiser while also attempting to get back into superhero shape himself.

Because sometimes being a hero isn’t about flying.

Sometimes it’s about showing up, putting one foot in front of the other and trying to make the world a little better than you found it.

Chester Bio

Chester Fields aka: “The Adorable Chess-Man”

Official mascot, morale officer and four-legged field agent of STARKFORCE.

Chester is a brave, energetic and slightly chaotic little legend who approaches life with the confidence of a superhero and the decision-making skills of a Labrador who just drank three espressos.

His hobbies include:

1.Destroying toys — especially his beloved Hulk plushie, “Hulky,” who has suffered catastrophic structural damage over the last few months.

2. Daily walks (or close enough to daily that we’ll call it a training montage)

3.  Patrolling the busiest parts of Victoria Park like he personally owns the suburb

4. Spending quality time with Claire the Staffie-his favourite Aunty.

5. Barking at dogs approximately fifteen times his size with absolutely zero concern for his own safety…

6. …and catching pieces of steak out of the air like a furry little action hero.

Despite his occasional goblin behaviour, Chester has a huge heart and loves being around people. Whether he’s leading the charge on walks or demanding attention from complete strangers, Chess-Man is proud to represent STARKFORCE in the mission to help raise money for cancer research and support.

Proof that heroes come in all sizes.
