This June, one of my best boys, Sniper is leading the way as we take on the Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge 🐾
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take really does matter. With every wag, walk and sniff stop, we’re putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that’s close to our hearts.
Last year, I lost my mum to cancer, so this one feels especially personal. Mum didn’t get the chance to meet Sniper but I hear her tell me “gee he’s in good nick,” at least once a week! This walk is for her, and for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer.”
Every kilometre Sniper, Patrick and I walk is a small way of showing up—for our loved ones, and for all the families going through it. And every dollar raised helps fund life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services.
If you can, please donate to help keep us moving. It really does mean a lot 🤍
