Please sup-pawt me
This June, Duke & Lilo are leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my doggies and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.
My Updates
Walking for Cancer
Sunday 3rd MayThis June, I’ll be taking on a 50km walk alongside my dogs in support of cancer awareness and fundraising — a cause that is deeply personal to me.
Like so many families, cancer has touched my life in ways that words can never fully explain. I’ve lost family members and friends to this disease, and those losses have shaped who I am today. The grief doesn’t disappear; it simply becomes something you learn to carry. This walk is my way of turning that pain into purpose.
Every kilometre I walk is for the people we have loved and lost, for those currently fighting, and for the families standing beside them through the hardest moments of their lives. I’m walking to honour their memories, to raise awareness, and to help support the research, care, and services that make a difference for people facing cancer.
My dogs will be joining me every step of the way — a reminder that support, loyalty, and unconditional love can make even the toughest journeys feel possible.
If you’re able to donate, share my page, or simply send encouragement, it truly means more than you know. Together, every step brings us closer to hope, better treatments, and one day, a world without cancer.
Thank you for supporting this journey with me.
