Walking for a Cause Close to My Heart 🐾

This June, my little sidekick and I are taking on the Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge together.

Living rurally, we know how important community support really is, especially when families are facing something as tough as cancer. Accessing treatment, support services, and care can often mean long trips away from home, which makes this cause feel even closer to the heart.

So throughout June, every walk, wagging tail, and little sniff stop will be helping raise funds for something truly important.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Every kilometre we walk is for the people who have faced those words, “you have cancer,” and for the families walking beside them through it all.

Any donation, big or small, will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and support services for those impacted by cancer.

If you’d like to support us and help keep our paws moving, we would be so incredibly grateful 🐶💛

My Updates

5km Down! 🐾

Tuesday 2nd Jun

We kicked off our Cancer Council 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge on 1 June with a great 5km walk.

Despite it being the first day of winter, the weather was beautiful and made for the perfect start to the month. Olivia and Cooper joined in on their scooters, making the walk even more fun.

Living rurally, we know how important support and access to services can be for families affected by cancer, which makes this cause especially meaningful to us.

A great start to the challenge with 5km completed and 45km still to go. Thank you to everyone supporting us along the way! 💛🐶
