This June, Gypsy and I are putting our hearts - and our paws - into Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer.

Cancer touches almost every family.  Nearly 1 in 2 Australians will face it in their lifetime.  So every kilometre we walk is for someone’s mum, dad, partner, child, friend…and for everyone who will one day need hope, strength, and support.

Gypsy doesn’t understand the statistics - but she understands love.  She understands loyalty.  And she’ll walk every step beside me for those who can’t, carrying the quiet courage that only a dog seems to know how to give.

We’re walking for the fighters.  For the survivors.  For the families holding someone’s hand through the hardest days.  For the ones we’ve lost.  And for the hope that tomorrow looks different.

Every donation, big or small, helps fund life‑saving research, prevention programs, and vital support services for people living with cancer.  These are the things that give families time, options, and moments that matter.

Together - humans and pups - we can make a difference.  And this June, we’ll walk every kilometre with purpose, love, and hope.
