This June, Sage and I are taking on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge 🐾💛
Sage thinks he’s signed up for an elite-level walking competition.
Honestly, he was going to demand the walks anyway, so we figured we may as well make them count for something important.
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Like so many people, we’ve seen the impact cancer can have on families, friends, and communities, which is why this campaign felt worth getting behind.
So this month, every kilometre, sniff stop, muddy paw print, and “absolutely not, I need to pee on THIS leaf” moment is helping raise money for cancer research, prevention programs, and support services for Australians impacted by cancer.
Sage will be contributing:
🐶 enthusiasm
🐶 emotional support
🐶 questionable pace management
🐶 strong opinions about possums
And I’ll be contributing by following behind with the lead and the snacks.
If you’d like to support our fundraiser, we’d both be really grateful 💛
