This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

My Updates
Final Week Update – Goal Reached, But We're Not Done Yet!
Tuesday 23rd JunFor the last four days, I've been out of town enjoying the sunshine in Townsville. I even managed a 4.8km walk along The Strand each morning. Beautiful weather, great scenery… but no dogs, so those kilometres don't count!
Now I'm back in Sydney, and I'm not sure whether Aerial and Radar missed me, or if they just missed their morning walks.
As of today, we've officially reached our 50km goal! 🎉
But we're not ending it there.
Aerial, Radar, and I are going to keep walking right through the final week. Every extra kilometre is another opportunity to raise awareness and support for a cause that affects so many families.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared the fundraiser, or cheered us on along the way. Your support has meant the world to us. Let's see how many more kilometres we can add before the challenge comes to an end!

Down to the Final Stretch!

Aerial and Radar have been loving their daily walks, and if I'm being honest, I've been enjoying them too. It's been a great excuse to get outside, spend some quality time with the dogs, and support a cause that means a lot to me.
With only 8km left to go, the finish line is finally in sight. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared the fundraiser, or offered words of encouragement along the way. Your support has helped keep us moving forward, one paw print and one step at a time.

Haven't Forgotten — Just a Case of Real Life
Saturday 13th JunI haven't forgotten about our Dog Walk for Cancer challenge. It's simply been one of those weeks where real life got in the way, with sickness, bad weather, and family commitments all competing for attention.
That said, I did sleep in until about 9:00am this morning... but I'd made a promise to both myself and the dogs that we'd get out for a walk.
So today, Aerial, Radar, and I laced up our shoes, shook off the excuses, and got back on track. Every step helps support an important cause, and every walk is a reminder of why we're doing this.
Thanks to everyone who has supported and donated so far. Your encouragement keeps us moving forward — even after a slow week!

Today, Team Doggolog went on a bigger adventure than usual!

Radar and Aerial completed a 4.7 km walk around Gooden Drive and Winton Hills Hall, enjoying plenty of sights, smells, and opportunities to explore along the way.
