Dog Walk for Cancer 2026

Please sup-pawt me

This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words ā€œyou have cancerā€. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

My Updates

Mum's the word!

Wednesday 10th Jun
Today's walk was dedicated to my beautiful mum.
Many people won't know that last year she was diagnosed with aggressive kidney cancer. It was an incredibly scary time for our family, filled with uncertainty and worry. Thankfully, the cancer was detected early, and Mum underwent surgery to have her kidney removed.
Through it all, Mum showed courage, strength and resilience. We are also grateful to the incredible medical team whose skill, care and dedication guided her through such a difficult journey.
While Mum was fortunate not to require chemotherapy or radiation treatment, we know how different the outcome could have been if the cancer hadn't been found when it was. That's why medical research is so important. The advances made possible through research funding help save lives every single day, and our family is living proof of that.
Today's walk was a small tribute to Mum's bravery, to the healthcare professionals who cared for her, and to the researchers whose work continues to give families like ours hope. We are incredibly grateful and very lucky that Mum is still here, continuing to inspire us all.

Two Walks, Two Incredible Woman.

Wednesday 3rd Jun
Today I completed two walks in honour of two of my dearest friends — one who has fought breast cancer and one who is currently at the beginning of that fight.
Watching both of these amazing women face such a difficult challenge has left me in absolute awe of their strength, courage and determination. What inspires me most is not only how they keep showing up every day, but how they somehow manage to keep their sense of humour through it all.
Their resilience, positivity and ability to find laughter even on the hard days is something I deeply admire.
I am incredibly proud to call these remarkable women my friends. Today's walks were a small tribute to the battles they have faced and continue to face, and a reminder of just how lucky I am to know them.
You are both stronger than you know, and you inspire more people than you realise.

Thank you to my suppawters
