One step at a time
This June, my dog and I are taking on the Cancer Council’s 100km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge 🐾
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, which means this is something that impacts nearly all of us in one way or another.
Cancer has deeply affected my own family, and it’s been one of the hardest things to witness. From watching my mum go through her own battle, to family currently fighting cancer, it’s heartbreaking to see the people you love suffer through something so cruel.
That’s why every walk, wag, sniff stop and kilometre we complete this month is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer.”
Every dollar raised will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and essential support services for Australians impacted by cancer.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I’d be so grateful for your support in helping us tackle cancer one paw at a time 🐶💛
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Go Emily and Nico :) Well done, so proud of you my beautiful Niece :)
