Dog Walk for Cancer 2026

My Activity Tracking

59
kms

My target 50kms

Please sup-pawt me

This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Councilโ€™s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words โ€œyou have cancerโ€. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because itโ€™s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

My Updates

We made it!

Monday 6th Jul
After some wet weather and a hospital stay for a few days, Elroy and I are pleased to say we finally made it! I canโ€™t thank you enough all for your very generous and kind donations that are going to support this very important cause! Until next time xxย

Just a few days to go

Friday 26th Jun
Itโ€™s been quite a wet and cold month so Elroy and I have struggled to get out and about as much as we would usually but we are only a few kms off our goal of 50kms! We plan on powering home and canโ€™t wait to celebrate the end of such an amazing cause ๐Ÿ’™

Three days down

Wednesday 3rd Jun
The weather has been an ass the last few days so we have had a slow start! But the main thing is we started ๐Ÿ’—

Our why ๐Ÿ’™

Sunday 10th May
Cancer touches so many families in ways people donโ€™t always see. This year, itโ€™s become deeply personal for ours after my dad was diagnosed with bladder and prostate cancer.ย Watching someone you love go through treatment, uncertainty and the emotional weight that comes with a diagnosis changes your perspective very quickly. Itโ€™s shown me just how important research, support services and fundraising really are and not just for patients, but for the families walking beside them too.Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m taking part in Do It For Cancer. Every donation, no matter how small, helps fund vital cancer research, prevention programs and support services for Australians impacted by cancer every single day.
If youโ€™re able to donate or share my page, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting a cause that now means more to me than ever before โค๏ธ
