This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.After losing both my Grandma in December 2025 and my Dad on 7th May 2026 both to cancer, I want to do something to honor their memory and keep me moving while I work through the grief of losing 2 close family members to this cruel disease 💔
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
