This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

Thursday 14th MayBetween September 2024 and March 2025, I sadly lost my dad Scott and father-in-law Dave to cancer. It was a really tough time.
This June, my lil cocker spaniel Percy (who joined our family to combat The Grief™️) is doing his first charity challenge to honour them: walking 50km in a month for Cancer Council's Dog Walk For Cancer 2026. That's a lot of kilometres for his little legs!
