This June, Rupert and I are taking on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.
The truth is, cancer has touched all of us in one way or another. Whether it’s family, friends, colleagues or ourselves, most of us know the fear, heartbreak and uncertainty that comes with hearing the words “you have cancer.”
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, which is why every step, sniff stop and wag along the way means so much.
Every kilometre Rupert and I walk is for the people we love, the people we’ve lost, and those still fighting. Every dollar raised helps fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and vital support services for Australians impacted by cancer.
If you’re able to, please donate and help keep Rupert’s paws moving for a cause that affects us all. 🐶💛
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
