Poe and I are taking part in the Dog Walk for Cancer Challenge in June to help raise money for cancer research ❤️

Jin and Poe shared a very special friendship. Jin was an incredible person not just to me, but to Poe as well. Dogs have a way of knowing who the good people are, and Poe absolutely adored Jin. Whenever I said her name, he would get excited because he knew it meant he was going to see her soon. There was something about Jin that made him feel safe and relaxed.

When I heard about Jin's diagnosis, I spent months researching every possible treatment and breakthrough I could find. I contacted research teams, looked into clinical trials, and searched for any possibility that might help. I was desperately hoping there might be something out there that could make a difference.

Now I have a much deeper appreciation for how important cancer research is. Every breakthrough represents hope for someone facing the same battle and for the people who love them.

All funds raised go directly to the Cancer Council to support cancer research. My goal is $500, and I only need another 60 people to donate $5 to reach that target ❤️

Poe will never understand what happened to Jin or why we're doing this challenge (I mean obviously has no idea he's even doing a challenge at all. He's just excited that he gets walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities 😂)

But I can say with complete confidence that if he did understand, he would be incredibly happy to be a part of it
