Dog Walk for Cancer 2026

My target 50kms

Please sup-pawt me

This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

My Updates

Half way there

Wednesday 10th Jun
I’ve been taking photos of Fergus each time we go on a walk. Sometimes we’ve been out after dark, so I’ve forced him to stop and pose at the front door, which is a big ask after I’ve just psyched him up by putting on his leash and shouting “LET’S GO AND KICK CANCER’S ARSE” or some variation on that theme. Meanwhile, thanks to my generous friends and family I’ve exceeded my initial fundraising goal, and have increased it from $300 to $500.

Thank you to my suppawters
