This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

WE DID IT!!!
Tuesday 30th Jun Today, Bailey and I completed just over 3 km, bringing us to 51 km toward our 50 km target!!! We hope that our efforts and the generous donations we received will help those impacted by Cancer. Share
Another 3 kms down!
Sunday 28th Jun
After another wet day, with more rain threatening, we were surprised to see a rainbow on today's walk. My kids and I always get excited when we see a rainbow! Although Bailey can't appreciate the sight, I sure did!

It should be easy to find joy in the blessings I experience when I think of those who are experiencing the struggles that come with diseases like cancer. But actually, I need to practise gratitude so much more than I do.
