Walkies for a Cause 🐕
This June, my greyhound Theo and I will be hitting the streets to raise funds for Cancer Council’s Dog Walk for Cancer challenge, with a goal of walking 80km across the month 🐾
For Theo, I expect this to include approximately 2000 sniff stops, countless treat negotiations, and of course his signature selective hearing when it’s time to head home.
Behind the challenge is an important cause. Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85. That’s a scary statistic, and donations raised throughout the challenge will help fund research, prevention programs and support services for those impacted.
