This June, my dogs are taking on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you/I have cancer”. After hearing those words from my own nan and friend, I wanted to do something to give back to the organisation. Every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
