Dog Walk for Cancer 2026

My Activity Tracking

My target 50kms

Please sup-pawt me

This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

My Updates

Sunday

Sunday 7th Jun
A lovely day for a slightly longer  7km walk today ,so 19 km this week which has put me over my 50 km. Luckily Gracie and Bentley love their walks, in fact demand two walks a day. Were raising money for a great cause so that more research can be carried  out and hopefully find more answers to help the many people who are diagnosed each year with cancer. Please donate if you can and thank you to those who have already donated   I’ve raised $500 so far so thank you everyone.

The weather has been great for walking over the last few days. Gracie , Bentley and I have enjoyed our walks to the rugby oval on Kitchener  / Fullarton Rd.Bentley is being a good boy off lead and enjoying his freedom of free time on the oval. Thanks for your donations so far .A few photos of our adventures.

Starting my walking with Gracie and Bentley

Monday 18th May
I’ve decided to start my walking from 18th May till 18th June as Bernard will finish his chemo sessions later in June. If all goes well with his chemo results we may be able to go away for a week or so , hence the earlier start. Here’s hoping that all works out.
