Dog Walk for Cancer 2026

My Activity Tracking

My target 50kms

Please sup-pawt me

This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

Achieving the Goal

Saturday 13th Jun
Tomorrow will be day 14 of walking ever day. The distance is not enormous but achievable. For someone who doesn't exercise and takes my dog to the dog park so I don't have to walk as much but Paris gets exercise and playtime, then this is a new challenge.  I sign up for this distance first but then also signed up for the big walk of 100 kilometres in June not convinced that I would achieve it. But here I go. My knees are not happy but just doing a bit more each day.

Thank you to my suppawters
