This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Councilās 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words āyou have cancerā. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because itās all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

Consistency
Wednesday 10th Jun Day 10. - some days itās just about consistency and showing up and sometimes you surprise even yourself . I didnāt want to be walk at all, committed to 2 but then made it to my daily target. Thatās a small win today.Ā Share
True crime
Tuesday 9th Jun Day 9 -some walks are for putting your air pods in and blocking out the day for an hour and just getting it done. Share
Poo bags
Monday 8th Jun Ā As I enter week 2 of my 100km dog walking journey for June I am reflecting on how many š© bags I have used. Horrified when one of my walking buddies decides to choose a VERY public spot today in front of a big audience. Ā š¤¦āāļø Share
Road trip
Sunday 7th Jun Day 7 - Morning beach walks and mid road trip strolls meant 2 walks for dogs today. We will all sleep tonight. Share
Dogs choice
Saturday 6th Jun Not all walks are āDogs choiceā walks. Donāt get me wrong, they would choose ANY walk but the beach is their happy place (I can relate, especially on a tropical vacation with cocktail in hand). Dogs choice walks usually involve lots of stopping to read āpee mailsā, throw sticks or balls and if given a tiny bit of encouragement a swim. They are not about the pace but the journey! Share
Another day
Friday 5th Jun Ā getting it done for Cancer research and the dogs donāt mind a single bit! Share
Thanks!
Tuesday 2nd Jun Big thanks to those Ā who have donated so far, this motivation got me out of the house on a cold, wet and windy night and added to my step total. Thank you šĀ Share
