Please sup-pawt me
This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.
My Updates
Day 1 - done and dusted!
Monday 1st JunBilly, Bella and I started our walk to raise funds for the Cancer Council today! The track we usually walk on by the Kalgan River in Albany WA, was littered with small tree branches and leaves from the stormy weather we've had lately and one fairly big tree had fallen right across the path so we had to climb over it - which we managed quite well considering the shortness of our legs! 😅 I'll have to report that to the Albany City Council so they can get it cleared. For the first time ever, I didn't have my phone on me, so no photos of the fallen tree.
Thanks to Geoff and Gail for donating to my fund-raising page!
Thank you to my suppawters
