This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge. But 50kms seems a bit easy so we’ve doubled it to 100kms and to further add to the challenge we will run it!Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
Zero pressure but if you’ve a few bob spare why not throw it at a good cause.
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Good on ya mate, hope those old legs keep ticking over 🫡
