This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

Day 7 Marina walk
Sunday 7th Jun Walked with my husband Nathan and my little walking buddy Lilith. I have never walked the break wall before. It was very worth it. The wine at the end was an added bonus Share
Day 5
Friday 5th Jun Chloe joined Lilith and I today on our work. It’s definitely starting to get cooler. We saw many cows coming down to eat in the paddock next to our estate. They were so cute. Share

Wednesday 3rd Jun We went for a lovely walk around Emma’s uni and the Mackay Engineering Centre. Share

Tuesday 2nd Jun What an adventure. Through fields, bushland, a creek and then a dead end path…..oops. I eventually found a gap in a fence and started heading back home before dark. 😅 Share
The start of Lynda and Lilith’s challenge
Monday 1st Jun What a beautiful mild afternoon to start our challenge. The sky is lit up with sunset colours. We even said hello to the local cows. Share
