This June, Iāll be taking on Cancer Councilās 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge alongside my two best walking buddies, Maple and Winnie. Together, weāll be putting one paw in front of the other to help raise funds for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
Right now, my partner Brad is going through a transplant journey, and alongside that, we also have loved ones who have faced cancer and some who are currently undergoing treatment. Seeing firsthand the strength, resilience, and support needed during these difficult times has made this fundraiser deeply personal for me.
While Maple, Winnie, and I will be doing most of the walking, Iām hopeful Brad might be able to join us for some small walks along the way as part of his recovery journey too ā making every kilometre we complete together even more meaningful. š
Thatās why Iām so passionate about supporting the Cancer Council and the incredible work they do. Every kilometre we walk and every dollar raised will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
No donation is too big or too small ā every contribution truly makes a difference and helps provide hope, support, and care to those who need it most.
