This June, my dog Zyron is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.
My Updates
Strutting our paws for an im-paw-tent cause!
Wednesday 6th MayHi all! My furever best friend Zyron, and I are proud to be joining The Dog Walk for Cancer Challenge in June! This will be my second time joining a fundraising challenge that I support, and this time Zy gets to do it with me! We are so proud to be fighting with you all for this important cause. I have watched the personal effect cancer has taken on many of my loved ones. The heartbreak of a cancer diagnosis, and the fear of the day you may have to say goodbye to a loved one. It’s something you will forever carry with you. Zy and I, aim to walk the 50km throughout June and have set the fundraising goal of $300. We hope that you can all join us fight for this cause. Whether it is a walk with your fur baby or a small donation to the cancer council. Your support means everything, no matter how big or small. Nobody should walk through their toughest moments alone. We’re here to spread awareness and fight together.
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Keep smashing those goals that you are working so hard on achieving each and every day beautiful girl. We know that it is often not easy, but your strength and determination is nothing short of admirable xx
