Please sup-pawt me this June - In loving memory of beautiful Zacky and my beloved uncle
This June, I would like to do something special for my birth month in memory of 2 special souls, whom I lost last year. Last June, we lost our beloved border collie, Zacky. And I would like to use this opportunity to walk for our best friend and to remember him. Although I can no longer walk along side him, I would like to remember him every step I walk - pretending like I can finally take him for another walk again…
Another beautiful soul lost was my beloved uncle who unfortunately passed away in December from lung cancer. It was all so sudden and I never got to say my final goodbye or attend his funeral which was held in Thailand shortly after his passing. I would like to use this opportunity to remember him and raise money for cancer-related services, especially preventative services and research for cancer treatment. Unfortunately, my uncle got diagnosed when it had already metastasised and progressed rapidly over the last a couple of months of his life. I hope that I can help funding or increasing awareness. Last year, I learned the biggest life lesson the hard way - don’t take the time that you get to spend with your people for granted as nothing is guaranteed. If only I knew that was the last time I got to see him smile and laugh again…
If you are able to donate or share this fundraiser, it would mean the world to me. Thank you for helping me turn grief into something positive and supportive for others.
In loving memory of beautiful Zacky and my beloved uncle.
