Join our walkies for a cause
This June, my pups and I are taking on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge, walking with purpose, wagging tails and lots of sniff stops along the way.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. I lost my cousin and best friend to Leukemia when she was only 16 years old. She was so young, so full of life and deeply loved by everyone around her. Our family has also experienced the heartbreak of losing our beautiful dog, Shiloh, to cancer.
Thats why we’re doing this challenge, for the people and fur friends we’ve loved and lost, for those currently fighting cancer and for anyone whose life has been touched by it in some way.
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take and every dollar raised helps support life saving cancer research, prevention programs and support services for families going through it.
Every step we take is for the people and fur friends who mean so much to us and for every family affected by this horrible disease.
Thank you for supporting our little team as we walk to help families and fur friends impacted by cancer 🐶🐾
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
