This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

First walk done and dusted for this challenge!
Monday 1st Jun We clocked in about 3km. Beans caught up on all the local goss and created some herself. Thank you all for your generous donations! We appreciate you ❤️🙏🏻 Share

I did have to run some sanity checks on whether the dog I picked up from the groomers was actually in fact Beans, especially after she rejected her all time favourite treat! I have attached "Before" to this post, will share a "Did I collect the wrong dog?" image after our first walk. Share
