Dog Walk for Cancer 2026

My target 50kms

max&me

This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre Max and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and dogs, in this together.

My Updates

10/6 update 26km done. 24km to go!!

Wednesday 10th Jun
I  have walked Max every day bar one very wet day in June. We walk mid morning and usually walk 3-4 km. I call them Maxy walks because there is lots of sniffing,  lots of tree stops and therefore they are slow but relaxing.

Thank you to my suppawters
