Dog Walk for Cancer 2026

My target 50kms

Please sup-pawt me

This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

The why

Sunday 24th May
The why behind my story is not because I have experienced cancer first hand I have witnessed it close up. I have watched family members battle, some won but others did not. I have watched friends of all ages battle, thankfully so far they have all won the initial battle, the future is always uncertain.
