This June, Duchess and I are lacing up our walking shoes (well, I am!) and taking on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.
Cancer is something that touches far too many lives, with almost 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed by the age of 85. That’s why every walk, every wagging tail, every sniff stop, and every kilometre we complete this month is for a cause close to so many hearts.
Together, we’re walking for everyone who has faced cancer, is currently fighting cancer, or will one day hear the words, “you have cancer.” Every step we take helps raise funds for life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and vital support services for those impacted by cancer.
If you’re able to support us, we’d be so grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference and keeps us moving towards our goal.
From our little team of two, thank you for helping us put one paw in front of the other in the fight against cancer. 🐾❤️
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
