DRAGGING MOTHER FOR A CAUSE
This June, I’ll be personally hauling Mother around the streets for Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.
Frankly, she thought the daily walkies were already enough. But apparently we’re now doing “fundraising” and “making a difference” too. Very ambitious from her.
Together, we’ll be clocking up 50km of sniff stops, café visits, dramatic lead pulling and unsolicited barking at absolutely nothing — all to help raise money for a cause that affects far too many people we love.
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, which is why every step matters. Every kilometre we walk is for the people facing cancer, the families beside them, and everyone whose lives have been turned upside down by it.
If you can donate, Mother and I would be very grateful. Your support helps fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and vital support services for people impacted by cancer.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a woman to drag uphill. ❤️

Great cause to support. Well done Vanessa.
