Donny & I run 50KM
This June, Donny and I take on Cancer Councilās 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge, however instead of walking, we are running 50km over the course of June.
Last year, at the age of 27, I was told the
words āyou have cancerā. Unlike some, I was extremely lucky, and was able to
remove the cancer, with a full recovery, requiring no further treatment, just
ongoing check-ups to ensure the cancer does not return.
Ā Growing up, I lost two of my Grandparents, who battled two different types of cancer.
Every kilometre Donny and I run is for
everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words āyou have cancerā. And every
dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention
programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
