Please sup-pawt me
This June, my dog is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.
My Updates
50kms for a reason
Tuesday 2nd JunCancer has affected so many people and families, and it's a cause that means a lot to me. That's why I've decided to challenge myself and make every step count for something bigger than just a daily walk.
Over the next month, Humphrey and I will be getting out there together to reach our 50 km goal. Whether it's cold mornings, long days, or tough kilometres, we'll keep going knowing that every step helps raise awareness and support for those impacted by cancer.
I'm walking for the people currently battling cancer, for the survivors who have shown incredible strength, and in memory of those who have lost their fight. Cancer touches all of us in some way, and I wanted to do something positive to help make a difference.Thank you for supporting Humphrey and me on this journey. Together, we'll be taking 50 kilometres' worth of steps toward a future with better treatments, more survivors, and hope for everyone affected by cancer.
