Please sup-pawt Gecko

This June, Gecko is leading the way as we take on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.

Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.

Every kilometre Gecko and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words “you have cancer”. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Because it’s all of us, humans and pups, in this together.

My Updates

Day 2!

Sunday 3rd May
Today we went out of town to a small reserve and walked along the old railway line.  Gecko even saw a rabbit!  That was very exciting.  But he was dissapointed mum wouldn't let him off lead to chase it.   It was a nice little walk today.

Back at it!

Saturday 2nd May
Today was Gecko's first time back,  walking for charity,  after a year long break.   Its been quite an eventful year for us,  with Mr Cheets cancer journey,  selling our property,  buying a new property,  and settling ourselves into a whole new community in a whole new area.  Gecko handled the transition a lot better than we thought he might.  In fact,  he adores his new world.  They have a dog food factory here that he finds is just the best scent ever!     2km walk today,  in 14⁰.
