Wagging Through 50km
This June, my pup, The Mighty Alfie, is leading the way as we take on Cancer Councilās 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge.Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, so every step we take will help change that. With every wag, walkies and sniff stop, we're putting one paw in front of the other for a cause that matters.
Every kilometre my pup and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words āyou have cancerā. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.

š¾ Fun Fact About The Mighty Alfie š¾
Monday 15th Jun
Did you know that The Mighty Alfie absolutely loves being in front of the camera? Whether it's striking a pose, flashing his best smile, or showing off his signature strut, he's a natural model at heart.
Over the years, he's even had a few professional photo shoots, and this is one of my all-time favourite shots of him effortlessly walking like a seasoned show dog. šøāØ

š¾ Week 2 Complete ā Onwards to Week 3! š¾
Monday 15th Jun
Another week down and The Mighty Alfie is still going strong! We've now passed the halfway mark of our 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge and are well on our way to the finish line.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our page, followed our journey, and sent Alfie lots of encouragement.Ā
As we head into Week 3, we'll keep putting one paw in front of the other.

Week 1 Update

The Mighty Alfie and I have officially crossed the 1-week mark and completed 22km of our 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge!
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our page, and cheered us on so far. Your support means the world to us and helps make a real difference for those impacted by cancer.
We're almost halfway to our 50km goal, so stay tuned for more adventures (and plenty of Alfie photos!) as we keep walking for this important cause. ā¤ļø
