Women like Danica need your help.
Every day, 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia.
Your support will mean so much to women affected by breast cancer. Women like Danica.
Only a couple of days before Christmas, Danica was told that she had metastatic breast cancer and may only have two years to live. Over Christmas and New Year, Danica sought help through Cancer Council’s free and confidential Information and Support line on 13 11 20 three times. Danica was so grateful for Cancer Council’s support services over those stressful weeks and continues to use the services them regularly.
Help ensure Cancer Council can fund world-class research, and support services to be there for women like Danica. Join the Walk for Breast Cancer now!
Your 58km Walk for Breast Cancer could help fund the next breast cancer breakthrough.
Together, it’s all of us against cancer.

How donations help people impacted by cancer:
$65 → provides much needed support and information to one carer, from a trained professional through our 13 11 20 Information and Support service.
$100 → can help fund up to two hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund.
$150 → can help pay for the collection and ongoing storage of a tumour sample to improve cancer prevention and detection.
$250 → can pay a lab assistant for a day. Research labs need all the help they can get – your support makes you an important part of the team.
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
