This June, Pookster, Sid and I are taking on Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer — paws, feet and hearts all in.
Pookster is walking this one especially for his Grandpaw, with every wag, walkies session and sniff stop carrying a little extra love and purpose.
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85, and that’s why we’re moving with intention. Every kilometre we walk is for everyone who has heard — or will one day hear — the words “you have cancer”.
Every dollar raised helps fund life‑saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people and families impacted by cancer.
If you’re able to, please donate to keep our paws moving and help tackle cancer alongside us. Humans and pups — we’re all in this together
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
