This June, my Dog Walking business Happy Pet Helpers is leading the way as we take on Cancer Councilās 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge, we will go a little extra in the mile and aim for 100km per day.I was diagnosed with a type of breast cancer called DCISĀ in Nov 2024 , it is a cancer that starts in the milk duct and can become invasive cancerĀ if not detected early.
Every kilometre my clients pups and I walk is for everyone who has heard, or will hear, the words āyou have cancerā. And every dollar we raise together will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and essential support services for people impacted by cancer.
