My target 58kms
58km for the 58 Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day
I lost one of the most special people to me to cancer in July this year. My Nan. I want to honour my Nan, who really never took anything for granted and felt blessed to get the time she had.
This October I'll be walking 58km for the 58km Aussies diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
I want to do more by raising awareness and I know my Nan would have been proud.
She has been lucky to be involved with the wonderful people at Cancer Council since she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer over 20 years ago.
I will never say she lost her battle as she fought until the very end to be here for her family.
Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity working across every aspect of every cancer. They support families affected by cancer when they need it most, speak out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empower people to reduce their cancer risk, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer. With your help, we can get closer to a cancer free future.
You’ll help fund world-class cancer research, prevention programs, and support services at Cancer Council, to support people affected by cancer before, during and after treatment.
With your help, we can help make a difference to people living with cancer.
You support is greatly appreciated.
