Saturday 1st Nov Hello everyone, I can't thank you enough for your encouragement and support, whether it is emotional or physical in the form of a donation to the Cause. I was able, with your help and donations, to pass the fundraising target of $500 for October. Having been through Breast Cancer, had surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, I know first- hand how unsettling and debilitating that period is. Hi 😃. It is 2 years since i was diagnosed with breast cancer, had surgery to remove lumps and some lymoh glands. Chemotherapy followed across 12 weeks. At the same time, my hysband was also battling cancer with Chemotherapy. We had the same Oncologist & went together for Chemo. I have since been given the all clear until next Mamogram check in May 2026. I feel very grateful for the treatment i received and the support of organizations like Be Uplifted. Sadly, my husband lost his 4 & half year battle wuth Cancer in June, but i am very blessed to be alive and healthy, to carry on. I want to give something back. So far i've waljed 15 km in Oct. Still counting.
