Walkies for a Cause with Barf Time
This June, I’m building the Barf Time Team for Cancer Council’s 50km Dog Walk for Cancer — and my dog is proudly leading from the front.
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85. That’s why every walk, every wag, and every “quick sniff break” is about something bigger than exercise — it’s about helping fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and vital support services for people impacted by cancer.
Here’s the fun part: I’m not doing it alone. I’m inviting the Barf Time community to become a real pack.
Create your own fundraising account and join the Barf Time Team so we can rack up kilometres, raise more together, and show what a community of pet people can do when we pull in the same direction. If you can, please donate to keep our paws moving — or join the team and walk with us.
Because when it comes to cancer, it’s all of us in this together — humans and pups.
Cancer Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income tax Exempt Charity. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
