We have just had  the Shortest day of the year, making the start of the Winter solstice. A beautiful day to go walkies with Lucy-Lu in a new locality , around Broadbeach.
The wheels keep rolling

Update on my statistics

Friday 19th Jun
2/6/26 to 18/6/26
Lucy-Lu and I  have done 87.70 KMS and 106,187 steps.
We have been around our neighbourhood, around the GC , we have been everywhere. A good way to see your locality up close. Along the way you meet many people, find interesting  things and take photos. An enjoyable way to raise funds and get fit too.

We reached another milestone today, 12/6/2026

Friday 12th Jun
We had 4.20km to walk to archive our 50km June  target
Today  the sun was shining, it was a lovely day for our Dog walk for Cancer. We walked to our target distance  easily , around and through Robina . After walking for 130mins we had done 10,667steps and  7.45kms.
We are thrilled to see we have been supported  to raise $323 , well beyond our original target.

Monday 8th Jun
My Mummy found a new Furking pram for me. I went for my first ride in it today, the pram glides along, very  smooth, I   could still see all around me.
We walked 8,000steps around the neighbourhood.

Wednesday , walk to Broadbeach and Miami. Thursday's walk at harbour Town.

Friday 5th Jun
Another beautiful day in the Gold Coast. Lucy -Lu and I did a long walk  today through two suburbs. I did  11,800steps, or 8.50km, a 3hr 20min walk.
Lucy-Lu ,  Jean and I  went shopping at Harbour Town, Shopping trolley and the pram all the way.A dog friendly venue, we could go into shops, loved the Peter Alexander Sale. Lots of admiring looks, photos and comments about Lucy- Lu the star. 4000 steps, 3.5 KMS.

And the pram wheels keep on rolling.

Di and Lucy'-Lu's walk for Cancer 2026

Wednesday 3rd Jun
I have had family and friends close to me effected by various types of cancer. It is a devastating destructive disease.    A  traumatic  journey  for all involved.  Some years ago  Lucy-Lu's   sister Tia was diagnosed  with Mammory gland cancer, she had surgery and follow up chemo, a very traumatic experience for a 3kg dog  .
We are walking to fundraise, we are asking for donations to help this cause.
We are all in this together.

Thank you to my suppawters
