Walking for cancer council
Monday 1st JunThis June, my sister, my dog Ruby, and I are taking on the Dog Walk for Cancer challenge, with a starting goal of walking 45km and raising $300 for Cancer Council.
Weβre doing this in memory of two very special family members who we sadly lost to different forms of cancer. Both fought long and brave battles, and their strength continues to inspire us every day.
Over the coming weeks, Ruby will be leading the way (and probably stopping to sniff everything!), while my sister and I put in the kilometres to help raise funds for the incredible work Cancer Council does in cancer research, support services, and prevention programs.
Every step we take is for them. Every dollar raised helps make a difference for families facing cancer today.
If youβre able to support us with a donation, no matter how big or small, we would be incredibly grateful. Together, we can turn 45km of walking into hope for a future impacted less by cancer.
Thank you for helping us honour their memory and support such an important cause. ππΎ
